This is a record of the epic journey of Len Harvey and Carolyn McDermott along Route 66 in July 2007. From Chicago to San Francisco. OK so the Mother Road doesn't end in San Francisco. Neither does it make all the detours we are making but we are following the spirit of Route 66 and hope you enjoy the ride.
Oklahoma and Missouri were the part of Route 66 that was best preserved. We spent the most time here as we wanted to experience life on The Road. Highlights were the two Route 66 museums and the Flying W ranch.
